why, does it seem, that the us is so far behind when it comes to recycling???  i have spent the last 4 weeks in manila, and have found recycling bins in place of garbage cans nearly everywhere i go!!  everyone rides public transportation and there seems to be more of a sense of a person’s impact on the planet.  for being such a “‘forward” culture….it seems we are a bit behind.
